About

Meet Torah Kalule.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist providing thoughtful, structured, and culturally responsive psychological care for adolescents and adults.

My clinical work is grounded in careful psychological assessment, meaningful therapeutic relationships, and evidence-informed interventions. The Healing Table was created to provide a thoughtful bridge between clinical care and the realities of everyday life — helping clients move from distress and uncertainty toward greater clarity, stability, and recovery.

Torah Kalule, Clinical Psychologist
Clinical Background

Clinical experience grounded in real-world care.

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist registered with the Kenya Counsellors and Psychologists Board (KCPB), with clinical experience across psychiatric hospitals, outpatient settings, schools, and private practice. My training and practice have involved working with adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of psychological, emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns.

My clinical experience includes psychological assessment, clinical formulation, psychotherapy, crisis support, behavioural interventions, trauma-informed care, and work with complex presentations. I have also worked within multidisciplinary psychiatric settings, giving me experience in understanding how psychological care fits alongside broader mental health treatment.

This experience has shaped the way I practise: carefully, collaboratively, and with attention to the individual behind the presenting concern. I believe good psychological care requires more than identifying symptoms. It requires understanding the person, their circumstances, their relationships, their strengths, and the factors influencing their wellbeing.

Clinical Approach

How I Practise

My approach is structured, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I use psychological assessment and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches to understand each client’s needs and develop care that is practical, purposeful, and clinically appropriate.

I do not believe psychological care should feel like a one-size-fits-all process. The work is shaped around the individual, their goals, their circumstances, and the level of support they require.

Where a client’s needs extend beyond psychological care, appropriate coordination with other qualified professionals forms part of responsible clinical practice. Each professional maintains their distinct role and scope of practice while contributing to coordinated care where appropriate.

The Healing Table

Why I Created The Healing Table

The Healing Table grew from a simple observation: psychological care does not end when a person leaves the hospital, and it does not begin only when a crisis occurs.

People often have to navigate the space between clinical treatment and everyday life — returning home, managing relationships, maintaining treatment, coping with stress, and trying to rebuild stability. I wanted to create a practice that could meet people within that reality.

The Healing Table brings together psychological assessment, therapy, consultation, and structured clinical programs to provide care that is thoughtful, practical, and responsive to the individual.
